چکیده

Gas drainage in deep coal seam is a critical issue ensuring the safety of mining and an important measure to obtain gas as kind clean available energy. In order get better understanding flow diffusion for seams, dual-zone model, including damage zone (DDZ) non-damaged (NDZ), are characterized by different permeability models anomalous analyze influence induced drilling boreholes on flow. The model verified with experiment field data. A series finite-element numerical simulations based developed carried out, indicating that, compared normal more accurate appropriate test fracture increases rapidly distance decreasing from borehole, area DDZ increasing significantly extraction time. Moreover, fractional derivative order, transforms gradually, decay pressure aggravated. higher value non-uniform coefficient results larger increment permeability. permeability–damage increase makes bigger.

Anomalous diffusion in silo drainage.

The silo discharge process is studied by molecular dynamics simulations. The development of the velocity profile and the probability density function for the displacements in the horizontal and vertical axis are obtained. The PDFs obtained at the beginning of the discharge reveal non-Gaussian statistics and superdiffusive behaviors. When the stationary flow is developed, the PDFs at shorter tem...

Pseudo Steady State Gas Flow in Tight Reservoir under Dual Mechanism Flow

Gas reservoirs with low permeability (k<0.1 mD) are among the unconventional reservoirs and are commonly termed as "Tight Gas Reservoirs". In conventional gas reservoirs that have high permeability, the flow of gas is basically controlled by the reservoir permeability and it is calculated using the Darcy equation. In these reservoirs, gas flow due to gas diffusion is ignored compared to Dar...

Water Flow in, Through, and Around the Gas Diffusion Layer

The gas diffusion layer (GDL) is an essential element of the electrodes in polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) fuel cells. The GDL makes electrical contact with the catalyst layers to provide a larger area to carry the electronic current from the catalyst to the bipolar plates reducing the resistance for current flow. The GDL must be porous to permit the flow of reactant gas from the gas flow ch...

Visualization of gas flow and diffusion in porous media.

The transport of gases in porous materials is a crucial component of many important processes in science and technology. In the present work, we demonstrate how magnetic resonance microscopy with continuous flow laser-polarized noble gases makes it possible to "light up" and thereby visualize, with unprecedented sensitivity and resolution, the dynamics of gases in samples of silica aerogels and...

Flow characteristics of gas-liquid-particle mixing in a gas-stirred ladle system with throughflow

An experimental study is performed on air-liquid-particle mixing, resulting from an air-particle mixture injected into a liquid flowing through a slender ladle. Flow visualization combined with image processing is employed to investigate the bubble and particle behavior at the nozzle outlet. Effort is directed to particle discrimination in both the liquid and the bubbles to determine particle d...
